Bell Curve’s kaleidoscopic output is grounded in the club, while pushing out into the cosmos. The New York-via-Texas producer and DJ has fast become one of the most in-demand, vital voices in leftfield bass music, gracing dancefloors in NYC and beyond, playing festivals including Bass Coast and Future Forest, while remaining a resolute champion of the underground. Through her residency with Rinse’s SWU FM, new label Raspberry Rhythms, and her previous acclaimed label and party series Worst Behavior, Bell Curve has consistently used her platform to foster future-seeking sounds from the ever-expanding ecosphere of soundsystem culture. Bell Curve’s own prolific output draws from an equally eclectic pool of sonics, anchored by chest-rattling low-end but always evolving. From hyperkinetic hybrids to heavyweight steppers, the producer’s prismatic and vibrant take on bass music’s myriad mutations has seen her picked up by labels such as Seilscheibenpfeiler Schallplatten Berlin, Dome of Doom, Moveltraxx, Sweat Equity, Ten Toes Turbo, Deviant Audio, and includes collaborations with Equinoxx’s Shanique Marie, Tampa rap duo They Hate Change, Deep Medi / Young Echo MC Rider Shafique ,and Jamaican-born, Switzerland-based dancehall queen Lateena. Each new release pushes ever deeper out into the unknown-alien reconfigurations of sounds from the club-continuum that defiantly evade easy categorization. Despite having accumulated an enviable list of accolades already, from a feature on Bandcamp’s Best Electronic Music of 2025 list, to a Spotlight Artist feature and mixes on BBC Radio 6 Music and glowing reviews from DJ Mag, Resident Advisor, and more, Bell Curve shows no signs of slowing down or resting on her laurels. The only constant is change, and her music lives in the liminal space between states, somehow simultaneously ancient and futuristic, focused, yet expansive, and always in flux.
