Fresh off the announcement of his first album in a decade, I Love You Forever (due May 22 via Team Love Records), Augustine returns to the stage with music that is as haunting as it is confrontational. Augustine’s story is one of return and reckoning. After leaving the conservative papermill town of Lincoln, Maine, to travel the world, he eventually settled back in Portland to care for his ailing mother and grandmother. The resulting work is a heavy exploration of grief and the American psyche.
