NYC-based producer/DJ, 88 Katanas is known for his deep, dark, and technical exploration of Jungle/Drum & Bass, particularly in styles like Techstep, Drumfunk, and Footwork. His abstract sound has earned him recognition in the underground scene and led to releases on labels like Weaponry, Mechanical, Noisy Meditation, Repertoire, Armory, Silent Force Recordings, Offish Productions, Over/Shadow and most recently Subtle Audio. He can be found streaming bi-monthly on Twitch/Mixcloud/Youtube; delivering thoughtful sets that traverse the spectrum of bass music.
