Seth Yacovone Band has been a fixture of the Vermont music scene since 1995. The band started when Yacovone was 16 and evolved from a straight blues band to becoming a more open ended and rock-oriented sound. The current lineup together since 2013, consisting of Steve Hadeka, Alex Budney and Seth Yacovone have been making some of the best music of the band’s existence, becoming an improvisational, heavy blues rock trio, power charging Yacovone’s original songs. The band has released 8 albums, toured America and Italy, opened for and or shared the stage with acts such as Ray Charles, BB King, Phish, Neville Bros, Dr. John, Johnny Winter among others.
Phantom Suns is a rock and roll band from Burlington, VT. The name is a synonym for "sun dogs," an atmospheric phenomena in which the sun appears to be flanked by smaller suns on either side. This cryptic reference to a scientific anomaly is a recurring theme within the band.
Songwriter-guitarist-vocalist Seth Gundersen plays off-kilter riffs while delivering powerful, melodic vocals. Chris Mathieu pummels the drums with precision and ferocity. Chris Knauer's bass lines provide a grooving foundation. Lead guitarist Tristan Baribeau is unhinged, sometimes chugging along with the rhythm and sometimes soaring above the din with euphonic leads.
Phantom Suns released their debut album, Caldera, in 2018 to favorable reviews. The band then released the followup Radiolaria in July of 2025.
