It's going to be a night of loud and diverse tones when we welcome two killer Chicago bands to Vermont. Equal Vision roster member Lume greatly impressed the audience with their rhythmically-entrancing, shoegaze-y slowcore when they came through The Monkey last April, and this year they've got some new material for everyone to check out. meth. is an up-and-coming experimental screamo act that traffics in a highly dramatic and dynamic blend of cacophony and melody. They bring the kind of intensity to the stage that we don't get to witness enough, so you'll need to be sure to strap in for their set. Joining these bands will be local punk duo Comrade Nixon and dark folk solo act Nick Awad.
